Acupuncture Education & Training

Lijuan has completed 432 hours of acupuncture study at the Florida College of Integrative Medicine, Orlando, FL (2020) and 70 hours of acupuncture training at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Shanghai, China (September 2025).

She is currently enrolled in the Master of Science in Acupuncture (MAc) program at Virginia University of Integrative Medicine (January 2024 – present). This 3-year program requires 159 quarter credits (approximately 2,160 hours), including 690 hours of clinical training and the treatment of 250 patients.

  • Has completed all academic coursework and 50% of her clinical internship as of March 2026. Her anticipated graduation exam is June 2026.
  • Scheduled to take the National Certification Board for Acupuncture (NCBAHM) examinations in January 2027
  • Upon passing the NCBAHM board examinations and obtaining state licensure, she will be eligible to practice acupuncture and provide patient care.

Massage Therapy Education & Training

  • Dual-licensed Massage Therapist in Idaho and Florida (Licenses: MAS 4861 & MA 75538).
  • Began advanced bodywork training in 2010, completing 160 hours of Shiatsu and Ashiatsu training under a Japanese instructor while practicing massage in South Florida.
  • Graduated from Blue Cliff College, Mississippi (2012), completing a 775-hour Massage Therapy program.
  • Completed 40-hour Manual Lymph Drainage Certification in Miami, FL (June 2023), certified by the Academy of Lymphatic Studies.
  • Accumulated 16 years of professional massage therapy experience (practicing in South Florida and Central Florida for 13 years and in Idaho for 3 years).
  • Provided therapeutic care to more than 13,000 clients across clinical and wellness settings.
